  1. Why is her top undone in 3:30? Is that suppose be be some kind of style, cuz it just looks like she doesn't know how to wear a overalls lol

  2. I got Chrissy's recipe books after watching this. I never cook either, so it's been exciting getting out of my comfort zone and challenging myself! It's been a yummy experience, too!

  3. Anyone else have the problem where you're great at cooking but never have any idea what to make??
That's my big dilemma, and I always default to pasta.

  4. She should have dedicated one hand to coat the chicken with dry ingredients and one for the egg.since she used the same hand for both it clumps up and it is harder to coat the chicken.

  5. I just want to say that I commend her for trying something again after failing. Cooking can be daunting. I grew up in the kitchen with my parents and grandparents. But living on my own I understand how it can be overwhelming to plan while living on your own and having a really busy work life. She is doing great! And she obviously knows how to be functional because she’s living her best life and is in an apartment supporting herself. Having a skill like cooking or sewing or things like that are not always essential all this time. Thinking that everyone has to be able to do the things that our grandparents and even parents had to learn or were told they had to learn in order to properly run a household are only one way to do things. It’s so aggravating how everyone is putting her down for her technique or how she is cooking or the fact that she doesn’t know how to cook when she is trying something new and is experiencing different things. Everyone had a right to live their life the way they see fit.

  6. I cannot relate to this girl grocery shopping is my favorite and cooking is so relaxing for me…. Also bf does the dishes as a reward for yummy food heehee

  7. Cooking chicken is easy as long as you have a good thermometer if it’s at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit in the middle you’re good to go

  8. You should look up a recipe for crockpot bbq pulled chicken! You pit it together in the morning, it cooks all day, and its ready for dinner with minimal effort!

  9. I can kind of see why the chicken is making you sick my friend the lesson to everything is using two different cutting boards for cooked and uncooked dont cross contaminate with putting raw chicken and then putting foods that are not suppose to be cooked keeping everything clean as well as when cooking on the stove be patient and cook in batches bc when the pan is crowded there's a big chance for it to get overcooked or undercooked and if it makes it a lil less complicated use a meat thermometer when u cook check if the chicken is 165 degrees that's fully cooked and you'll be okay everyone has a hard time but with a recipe in front it makes it alot easier good luck

  10. in a way i dont judge her, i had to learn how to cook pretty quickly out of neccesity, but honestly it's not that hard at all, and most of what i learned it's from tasty videos haha

  11. It makes me kinda sad and angry she lacks common life skills like not knowing about the scales in the produce department / weighing them out to get the appropriate measurements for the recipe. Thinking yu can wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from onions etc.

  12. Well post mates isn’t available where i live so cooking is the only option unless you go out and order pizza or pickup takeout 😂

  13. I applaud Lindsay for trying, I really do but damn girl. You're a grown adult woman. You shouldn't be wasting so much money and packaging on takeout. Its so bad! You should know how to cook for yourself and know how to follow a basic recipe. And guess what, nobody likes doing dishes but its part of being an adult and learning to be self reliant and getting your hands dirty. Come on, Lindsay. You're not a bimbo. You can do these things!

  14. I feel you on the sharing it with people. I didn't learn to cook until I was 32 and moved in with my fiance and his two kids. Now I love cooking and cook all the time. Just took people to appreciate it… @girlswithlimitedculinaryskills
