  1. You want to end world hunger? Feed the food we feed animals in order to then kill them and eat them to people instead…

  2. Company's would rather throw it out vs giving it to their employees for free, happened every day at a grocery store i worked at.

  3. Everything is just a matter of logistics. We literally have the capability to turn this world in to a "utopia" of sorts even with current technology. The problem is, will those logistics gel with human nature? From what I have seen, human nature can and almost certainly will conflict with even the most logical of solutions. As a species, we may be genetically predispositioned to have conflict with each other and preventing us from achieving a certain amount of cohesiveness thus ultimately limiting the fairness of our societies. In other words, we may be genetically bound to hold our species back to a certain degree.

  4. that's fucked up, doesn't NOW THIS have their own youtube channel. That's some shitty way to get a million subscribers. I am fucking unsubscribing from ALL SEEKER CHANNELS…..RIGHT NOW! and how come science and GK and stories become ONE SAME THING?

  5. keep up the good work…and never mind those negative commenters fools…they're off the list

  6. Except.. This is stupid.. You can't solve problems by just giving people what they should be able to obtain (earn) themselves… We have more than enough for everybody.. That the US actually has people starving is a political problem.. Programms like this even prolong this problem and make it worse.. Because people are given what they need the underlying problem is never tackled and the whole thing will blow up in the future.. With extreme consequences

  7. but be careful, if you guys decide to expand to Africa you must watch their population. they have explosive pollution growths and will take a long time to reach a stable population number since they are so behind in technology. you don't want their pollution to be so high that they cant the huge number of mouths to feed.

  8. Prophet Muhammad said β€œHe is not a believer whose stomach is filled while the neighbor to his side goes hungry."
"…and eat and drink but waste not by extravagance, certainly He (Allah) likes not those who waste by extravagance." Qura'an

  9. $30 Billion per yr. Will stop world hunger. But in the jew s of A we got football and empire shit drama shows that are more important. Its time ppl in the jew states to drop out in to oblivion. Sheeple.

  10. Your famines, more like a fat camp diet I’ll show you how to starve a nation Paradise tastes so good, especially when it’s not mine Everything Tastes better on the other side of the fence Light it, grind it, deep fry it, snort it, inject it. Stealing is a sin, but consider this remuneration for my gift of democracy Have a nice day

  11. i dont think handouts will solve the problem, but if it's going to waste then i suppose it's good.
problem is, what incentive is there for people in need to try to get out of their situation if they can get free food.
(maybe it isnt free but i assume it would be extremely cheap)
also being for profit is a very good idea. i wish more charitable businesses do so

  12. I would swear this you tube station over the last few weeks has Gone full millennial liberal.
This is just a terrible advertisement.

  13. restaurants and catering companies will not hold themselves liable to potentially giving the needy food poisoning.

You have a 4 hour window that most foods can be in the danger zone between 40 and 140 degrees before it becomes unsafe to eat and I didn't see any of those vans in the video have refeigeration or heating units to keel that food out of the danger zone.

What's the point of feeding the needy if it's just going to make them sick?

  14. So much spoiled brat bitching going on in the comments section. Absolutely disgusting, cancerous, inhuman filth.

But wait, this reduction of waste is bad for more established businesses… Ah! Follow the money and the truth reveals itself.

When poor and desperate people are forced to petty crime just for bare survival, it's good for long entrenched businesses. Good for maintaining the need for ever more prisons, security forces, etc.

  15. Why did you sell your other channel? Literally ruined my fucking morning, I loved that channel, but I guess you guys are just fucking sellouts. Really sad, man πŸ™

  16. Remember "dnews" and how good that channel was. Remember when "dnews" a Science channel. (1 of the last 8, videos Is on anything Science.)

  17. There is enough farm land in the world to solve world hunger. You just need to look at the rural eastern US to know that. Most of it was originally cleared for growing crops when colonists first arrived, but it just costs too much to be start a farm nowadays.Even if that wasn't enough we could provide ourselves enough food by doing indoor farming.

  18. This is great and all, but what about all of that fuel those trucks use? This idea seems like it could really hurt the environment in the long run :/

  19. See….now you're creating problems. What do you think will happen if we could feed the world? We're going to repopulate. That 3x more food that's wasted will suddenly not cover anything. Solving world hunger is a numbers game. You can't solve it because every time you do those numbers will grow bigger and bigger. You will have to feed more and more families. Until there's nothing left. This isn't a problem solver.

To solve the problem you need to reduce the population to have more room and more food. If you can somehow get population under control, then you have solved world hunger, homelessness, job hunting, and anything else. Until then…have fun feeding people false hope…

  21. We gotta figure out a way to turn ALL the deserts on earth into green fertile land but until we have that technology, improving logistics and transport is certainly a step in the right direction.

  22. Great. Not like the world is already overpopulated and people dying from starvation, as terrible as it is, is helping to slow that down.
Let's end ourselves even faster. Great idea.

  23. I say let the third world shit holes die of famine. That'll leave more sustainance for those that truly matter.

  24. good work, but I'm more into sustainable development there is an arabic proverb says teach me how to hunt and don't give me a fish

  25. Are companies dumb, like they could just give the waste food to me man. But I'm glad they give it to the people in need.

  26. This is a great idea. I am an OTR truck driver and there are instances where a receiver rejects a perfectly good product due to the box being damaged while the product inside is still sealed and safe. Hope the idea progresses as their is way too much food waste in this country for people to be going hungry.

  27. It's actually a really good thing that this company is for profit because Republicans are in power. This company is doing great work and using the extra money to make themselves as big as possible to solve this problem. If they were a non-profit they might get some Democrat state funding but they would also have to rely on Republicans for funding and that party obviously doesn't give a damn about the poor. They're defunding meals on wheels and their health care plan is scaled to uninsure 24 million Americans in a decade. Those subsidies used for insurance are given back to the rich. They're basically saying "being poor is a matter of laziness" which is obviously BS.

  28. If the 700 million richest people sponsored a child for seven years, we would have world hunger wiped out or at least under control.Β  But it is good that they are doing this!Β  πŸ˜€

  29. 2:23 'Hunger is an issue of logistics'. Nope, food wastage is an issue of logistics, hunger is an issue because people don't have the ability to feed themselves. Feeding people for free is just going to take away the motivation for them to try and make a living. How about using technology to make sure excess food is not generated in the first place?

  30. After watching something about food waste in our nation, this is nice to hear.Β  I would love to do something to bring food that is wasted by farms to the market or to people in need, and was overwhelmed by the exact challenges they talk about in this video.

Kudos to some people not allowing the challenge get in their way.

Also, the for profit angle is smart.

  31. but didnt you hear? the all-knowing trump is going to solve all hunger by bringing the cheese from the moon to earth! he learned the moon is made out of cheese from fox news… so we all know it is the truth, besides, the words came out of his mouth- there are all the facts and evidence we need!!!
the world is so upside-down… maybe we really are just simulations

  32. this is a great concept, however, trying to find companies that want to give goods away for free is going to be very difficult.

  33. Solving the world's hunger is a matter of people growing the food they buy locally. Not spending mountains of cash to ship scraps from California to Africa.

  34. Hi I'm the leader of run over. This is a program that motivates me and others to end world hunger. My goal is to make sure no one on earth dies from hunger. I am a 12- year old girl. Everyday eating lunch at school makes me think that kids younger than me are starving out their please help them. If you believe that world hunger should stop please write you name on a in my Instagram called runover_hilliard. For everyname I get helps me know that people care and that that's many people would help those kids mothers, fathers stop going hungry.

  35. how can there be so many dumb fuckers in the world? just look at the comment sections, some people are just so deliberately stupid that they really deserve to be fucked in the asses and not be cared for.

  36. 13 year old challenges Trump and the world to share and not build border walls https://youtu.be/RX_xugcTn5w
