Yoga Lessons for the Overweight : Seated Meditation Cooldown Yoga Poses for the Overweight


Find your heart center; it resides right underneath
your sternum. Bring your hands at your heart center. Close your eyes. Now, imagine sun,
the sun ray shining into your heart center. Let it warm up. Let it expand out like the
rays of the sun expanding out into your torso. Really feel with your breath. Let it expand.
As you’re letting it expand, let it go down into your legs. Let it flush into your legs;
these rays, this warmth, this love. Let it expand out and cascade down into your arms,
all the way to your fingers. You can feel a tingling sensation in your palms. Let it
rise up the neck up to the crown of the head. Just fully embody the sensation of love, your
soul, your life, just fully being alive, being present, and just loving yourself.
